The Gorge Roller Derby Junior Skate Camp is designed for all genders and gender expressions, ages 7-17.Groups will be separated by age and skill level. Hood River Valley Parks + Recreation District and Gorge Roller Derby manage this program together. Our mission is to provide a positive experience for each participant. To help in this endeavor we have adopted a philosophy that puts learning first and winning second. Gorge Roller Derby will introduce the participants to the basics: the fundamentals of roller skating, teamwork, strategy and derby gameplay. The camp will culminate with a roller derby scrimmage on Friday.
